Our story

Lumara began in 2022 with an observation our founder, Aditi, couldn't shake. A career in international finance carried her from Mumbai to New York to Singapore and finally home to Sydney — and in beautifully lit rooms across all of them, the same thought kept returning: this feeling is achievable in any home, with the right pieces.

She just couldn't find those pieces in Australia. The mass market offered convenience without soul; the design boutiques offered soul at a price few could justify. Lumara Home was built to live precisely in between — pieces that belong in the pages of an interiors magazine, at prices that belong in real life.

The Lumara standard

We are an edit, not a catalogue. Every lamp, vase and candle holder is selected by hand against a single question: does it make a room feel warmer, calmer and more like the home you always pictured?
