Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this policy limits those rights. Our 30-Day Happiness Guarantee operates in addition to them.
Our 30-Day Happiness Guarantee
We want you to love every Lumara Home purchase. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, we offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery — no fine print, no hassle.
Eligibility for returns
You may return your item within 30 days of delivery if:
- The product arrived faulty, damaged, or not as described
- You changed your mind and the product is unused and in its original packaging
- The wrong product was delivered
For faulty, damaged or not-as-described products, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited to 30 days.
How to request a return
- Email us at hello@lumarahome.com.au with your order number and reason for return.
- We'll respond within 1–2 business days with instructions.
- We'll confirm whether a return is required or whether we can process your refund without needing the item back.
- If the product is faulty, damaged or not as described, we'll provide a prepaid return label at no cost to you.
Refund processing
Once your return is received and inspected (or waived), your refund will be processed within 3–5 business days to your original payment method (including orders paid with Afterpay). Allow a further 3–10 business days for your bank or provider to process it.
Change of mind returns
We accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days, provided the product is unused and in original packaging. You cover return shipping costs; we refund the full product price on receipt.
Faulty or damaged products
If your item arrives faulty or damaged in transit, we will repair, replace or refund it in full — including all shipping costs — as required under the Australian Consumer Law. Email a photo to hello@lumarahome.com.au and we'll resolve it within 24 hours.
